Extended Warranty for TV Promotion with Registration 2024

Loewe Technology GmbH ("LOEWE") extends the manufacturer’s warranty against material and workmanship defects (quality warranty) as described below. The promotion is valid for consumers aged 18 and over in Germany and Austria during the LOEWE warranty promotion period, starting from December 1, 2024, until further notice by Loewe, upon the purchase of the following promotional products (new goods):

Loewe Stellar TV (all sizes) – Extension of the LOEWE manufacturer's warranty to a total of 5 years

Loewe and We. by Loewe TV products (all sizes) – Extension of the LOEWE manufacturer's warranty to a total of 30 months

The extended manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years or 30 months applies to the aforementioned Loewe TV devices that are legally purchased during the promotional period (until its termination/revocation) from an authorized (in-store) LOEWE retailer or on www.loewe.de, provided the device is registered on www.loewe.tv within 4 weeks of purchase. During the extended warranty period (beyond 24 months), defective panels are excluded from the warranty extension.

Consumer Protection Rights.
The extended LOEWE warranty is a voluntary warranty provided by the manufacturer. It offers additional rights independent of the rights granted by consumer protection laws, particularly regarding the reversal of the burden of proof. These statutory rights are not restricted by the warranty. Therefore, the benefits provided by the LOEWE warranty are to be understood as a supplement and not a replacement for the rights granted under consumer protection law. Consumers may choose whether to claim services under the LOEWE warranty or their statutory defect rights.

Important: The terms of the LOEWE warranty do not apply to claims arising from statutory defect rights.

LOEWE Warranty Terms and Conditions.
If manufacturing-related material defects and/or workmanship defects, as well as technical faults, appear in the purchased devices during the 5-year warranty period from the purchase date, LOEWE will, at its discretion, repair or replace the device for you. Additionally, we assure you that we will waive the statutory reversal of the burden of proof for the entire period. Unless the national legislation for warranties stipulates otherwise, the buyer's claims under the warranty are limited solely to the points mentioned in this warranty.

Warranty claims do not exist if the defect is caused by any of the following:
– Operation and connection errors
– Improper use and handling, especially non-compliance with the usage instructions in the installation or operating manual as well as packaging instructions (including burn-in).
– Improper transport
– Contamination (e.g., liquid or other foreign substances inside/on the device; severe nicotine deposits on LCD panels, displays of flat TVs, laser diodes; dust deposits, e.g., in ventilation slots, fans, etc.; heat buildup, laser diodes)
– Damage caused by lightning, water, fire, force majeure, war, incorrect voltage, insufficient ventilation, or other external influences not attributable to LOEWE.
– External interference and external impacts (e.g., use of non-original spare parts and non-original software)
– Incorrect installation, disassembled parts, incorrect storage
– External blemishes and/or scratches
– Non-compatibility of certain accessories or peripheral devices from other manufacturers with LOEWE devices
– Insignificant pixel defects

Devices used commercially (e.g., video walls, internal hard drives) are also excluded from the warranty, as are maintenance, repairs, or part replacements due to normal wear and tear (e.g., batteries). The same applies to software updates. Mandatory software updates prescribed by law will be provided as online updates directly to the device or alternatively via tv for download.

Ownership of replaced parts and/or devices transfers to us upon removal and/or replacement. Warranty repairs do not lead to the start of a new or extended warranty period. Warranty claims can only be asserted by the owner of the respective device.

If LOEWE decides to replace the device and if the device series is no longer manufactured or a corresponding device is not available, LOEWE reserves the right to provide, as the sole option, a new or newly manufactured device that may differ in size, color, shape, model number, and/or performance from the original device.

Installation and removal costs of devices at your location cannot be covered under the warranty. Similarly, the risk and cost of transport and packaging of devices to LOEWE or an authorized LOEWE dealer are not covered. LOEWE or the retailer reserves the right to charge you for the investigation cost if LOEWE or the retailer determines, after examining your device, that no warranty claim exists for any reason, no fault was found, and your device is functioning correctly.

Costs for modifications or adjustments to the device required to meet the national technical or safety requirements of a country other than the one in which the device was purchased and is intended to be used are not covered by this warranty.

To register a warranty claim, we require confirmation of the device registration, the (machine-issued) purchase receipt (invoice), which must clearly show the purchase date, model designation, and serial number, allowing for clear identification of the device. Please keep the device's original packaging for warranty claims.

If you need to claim warranty services, please always contact your LOEWE retailer first for processing or, in all other cases, directly contact LOEWE. The warranty claim under these warranty terms and conditions is valid exclusively in Germany and Austria.
